Our client, Tethyan Copper Company (Pvt.) Ltd is a mining and exploration company dedicated to the exploration and development of the copper and gold resources at Reko Diq in the Balochistan Province of Pakistan. It is a joint venture entity equally owned by Antofagasta of Chile and Barrick Gold of Canada, the combination which brings world class experience in developing large mining projects in Challenging locations.

HR OFFICER (OPERATIONS)

A motivated and self starter, MBA with 4-6 years of experience in HR Operations, Responsibilities include assisting in establishing HR Department, implementation of HR practices, HR Budgeting & Forecasting, Recruitment & Selection, help managing Training plans and Training Activities and HR MIS. The position is based in Islamabad at the Head Office and reports to HR Manager. Experience with multinational company will be a definite plus. Preference will be given to the candidate with Balochistan Domicile.

SITE HR OFFICER

Preferably MBA/MPA with 6-8 years of experience in supervising large labor force. Responsibilities include implementation of HR practices at the site, Grievance handling, HR Administration, Recruitment & Selection of local workforce, liaise and manage. Third Party contractor, acting as an interface between management and labor force. This position is Site based and demands willingness to work at site under challenging weather condition on rota basis. Preference will be given to the candidate with Balochistan Domicile, Ideal candidate should be well-versed with labor laws and regulations should have an excellent communication skills in both English , Urdu and speaking ability of Balochi language will be an added advantage.
