EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Lasbela Industrial Estates Development Authority is an autonomous body established by Government of Balochistan in 1984  to promote industrialization in District Lasbela, Balochistan. Presently this Authority is operating 5 industrial estates in District Lasbela, at Hub, Gaddani, Winder and Uthal and ensuring utility services to its consumer through ONE WINDOW facility in real sense. Presently this Authority is taking 28 MW electric load from KESC  and distributing the same to its consumers through its own laid down electric system. Keeping in view the present pace of industrialization the demand of electricity will rise to 50MW  in very near future.

In view of present load shedding and sabotage of electric installations of KESC, this Authority is facing difficulties in smooth supply of electricity to its consumers and hereby invites EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST from reputable and experienced private concerns to establish 50MW Gas-based Power Plant at HITE Hub exclusively for supply of produced load of electricity to this Authority.  The  Authority will provide only land required for the estab-lishment  Power Plant being its share in the project whereas all investment towards establishment an operation of this Plant will be made by the company itself.

Interested professional companies having sound experience may submit their technical and financial proposals in separate sealed envelopes along with complete company profile to the undersigned latest by 30th April, 2008. The proposals so received will be opened on 1st May, 2008 at 12 Noon in presence of participants who may wish to be present.

The competent Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reason or divide business among more than one bidder.
