Provincial Coordinator Balochistan  - USAID

DAI is an international consulting firm contracted by the United States Agency for international Development USAID and is involved in implementing governance related projects worldwide. in Pakistan DAI is implementing the USAID Pakistan funded project titled "Pakistan" Legislative Strengthen Project" under the scope of the Agreement for Technical Cooperation between Pakistan and the United States of America.

DAI is seeking to fill the position of Provincial Coordinator Balochistan immediately . The Provincial Coordinator will coordinate the efforts to strengthen operations of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly. The responsibilities include organizing trainings and technical assistance to improve committee operations. Budget process , and strengthening key assembly departments. The Provincial Coordinator will facilitate the work with Pakistani and international experts. The Provincial Coordinator will be based in the provincial capital Quetta.

Key Tasks Include:

Serve as Project representatives to all stakeholders , including leaderships , members and staff of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly : Coordinate and contribute to the design of Project activities within the province , coordination with Islamabad Project Head Office, Responsible for Project monitoring and evaluation in the province, Develop strategic linkages with key external institutions and organizations that can assist parliamentary support initiatives: Collect and disseminate best practice and lessons learned from provincial activities : Manage the Parliamentary information & Technology Resource Centre facility at the Balochistan Provincial Assembly.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in project coordination or management : Demonstrated familiarity with Provincial Assembly and government structures, including committee system and budget process. Ability to successfully interact with a range of stakeholders including MPAs. Assembly staff and government officials. Excellent facilitation and communication skills, Local language fluency and English proficiency.
