A leading organization dealing with private power generation is looking for high caliber Professionals with demonstrated capacity and competence to take-up the following challenging positions in the areas mentioned below:

Thermal Power Professional:

Senior Manager

Qualification and Experience:

• An Engineering Degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a reputable foreign or Pakistani university. Additional qualification of MBA in Finance will be an added plus.
• 10 years experience in a reputable organization, with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record of handling successful project.

Competencies/Expertise:

• Experience in contract administration.
• Review feasibility studies for thermal power generation projects.
• Experience in handling technical and financial matters related to private power projects and organization and coordination for participation of the Government of Pakistan and its agencies and the private sector.
• Involvement in various project development activities.
• Knowledge of projects based on Private-Public partnership.
• A good understanding of activities involved in developing coal based power projects.

Hydro Power Professionals:

Manager and Deputy Manager

Qualification/Experience:

• An Engineering Degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a reputable foreign or Pakistani university. Additional qualification of MBA in Finance will be an added plus.
• Proven track record of handling Hydro Power Projects.
• Minimum experience required for Manager is 7 years with at least 4 years relevant experience. In case of Deputy Manager, minimum experience required is 4 years with at least 2 years relevant experience.

Competencies & Expertise:

• Preparation and evaluation of bids.
• Preparation and/or review of feasibility studies for hydro power projects with respect to Hydrology, Layout, sizing, seismic analysis, environmental considerations and project costs etc.
• Understanding of private power policies and tariff structure for private sector hydropower projects.
• Technical know how of hydropower projects.
• Generation of different reports, concept papers for the organization.

All the candidates must have strong and outstanding oral and written communication skills and good computer expertise. Must have knowledge of issues related to IPPs: having strong analytical skills and be capable of addressing intricate problems pertaining to private power projects.

Remuneration
