Of Security Officers (on contract basis) for Karachi & Quetta
Banking Services Corporation (SBP BSC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of State
Bank of Pakistan (SBP). As an operational arm of State Bank, SBP BSC operates
through a network of 16 Field Offices across the country having its Head Office

Bank is in process of further strengthening its security set up and therefore
invites applications from individuals possessing required qualification,
experience, zeal and enthusiasm for the positions of Security Officers at its
offices situated at Karachi and Quetta.
analyze and bring improvement in existing security arrangements of the Bank.
ensure implementation of security related SOPs and provide a foolproof/secured
environment to employees, visitors and stakeholders of the Bank.
ensure that disaster recovery, business continuity, incident response, and
security risk management needs of the Bank are properly addressed.
develop and maintain close liaison with local administration and law
enforcement agencies regarding Bank's security matters.
conduct monthly, quarterly and annual table top testing, mock exercises and
rehearsal as per approved plan of the Bank.
lead awareness and training initiatives for concerned staff on security related
technology/ equipments/weapons and dealing with stakeholders visiting the Bank.
other responsibility assigned by the management.
Qualification & Experience
ex-Armed Forces officer of rank of Lt Colonel or equivalent as below:
PSC/ISC/LSC or equivalent or higher.
on completion of color service in 2016 or later.
in security of installations /Provost / Intelligence assignments preferably in
Sindh and Balochistan.
compulsorily retired from armed forces on discipline/inefficiency/medical
grounds are not eligible to apply.
50 years as on the last date of submission of application.
candidate should be medically and physically fit with no disability.
Additional Skills & Competencies
conversant with security organization, planning and execution, enforcement methods,
techniques and tools.
knowledge of latest developments in the field of security, electronic
surveillance, Fire Fighting, safety and disaster management.
teamwork ability and leadership skills.
interpersonal and communication skills.
candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of eligibility criteria and
quality/relevance of professional experience. The shortlisted candidates will
be required to appear in an interview before the selection board. The
candidates possessing domiciles of respective provinces shall be given
preference in the selection process. The selected candidates will be inducted
on contract basis initially for a period of two (02) years which may be further
extended, based on their performance and conduct during the contract period.
Before issuance of offer letter, the particulars of candidates will be sent for
verification to the respective Headquarters of armed forces.

Place of Posting
vacancies are available at SBP BSC field offices situated at Karachi and
Quetta. Choice of station is to be clearly mentioned in the application form in
order of priority. However, selected candidates can be posted at any of the
sixteen field offices across the country as and when required.
